4 – The Great Blue Hole of Belize, a magnificent creation of nature

If you’re a diving enthusiast, you’ve probably already heard about sea holes. The one we present to you here is located 70 km from Belize City. In the heart of the turquoise waters, this gorgeous geological creation attracts exploration enthusiasts. Jacques-Yves Cousteau introduced it to the general public after his exploration in 1971. The Great Blue Hole of Belize goes as deep as 125m and has a diameter of 318m! It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.
